A Word From Jake:
Welcome to the first web-based LINKZ-Letter! The portal is still a work-in-progress, but I hope it will serve as an easier centralized location for LINKZ-related information. I would sincerely appreciate any feedback, including feature requests, bug reports, questions, and general user experience. Thank you for your patience with the roll-out!
Best,
Jake
LINKZ Updates:
TutorCruncher:
- We're still investigating the discrepancies in payment orders as shown in TutorCruncher, but please know that I manually track everyone's hours to ensure that everyone is paid correctly, regardless of what TutorCruncher shows. Michelle and I will keep you posted.
Office:
- Important: For the portal, I'll be posting a "LINKZ Handbook" in the coming weeks - it'll have important information about contracts, raising rates, and other best-practices.
Workshops:
- Important: The Learning @ LINKZ Calendar is now permanently on the front page of the LINKZ Staff portal - if you have any issues accessing it, please let me know!
- I've been getting a lot of feedback and questions about "summer programming" at LINKZ (which is much appreciated!), so I wanted to take a moment to clarify. We'd love to host summer content - virtually and/or at our office(s) - that includes camps, workshops, seminars, lecture series, and/or any other programming you'd like to offer. If you have an idea for a camp for kids, a workshop for parents, a seminar for staff, and/or some other type of experiential activity for students, we'd like to help facilitate it! You'd be paid for your time (development and execution), and we can provide marketing, materials, space, etc. If you have any other questions about what it might look like, please let me know!
