Biography

Alissa Sheinbach, M.Ed. is an Academic Specialist at LINKZ. She has a B.A. in International Politics from George Washington University, an M.A. from Brown University in Educational Policy, and an Ed.M. from Smith College in Elementary Education.

She has fourteen years’ experience as an elementary school teacher and thirty years’ experience as an academic tutor. She was trained by Fran Bowman in the Orton-Gillingham method and worked for Bowman Educational Services for fifteen years. She is trained in Lindamood Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing program, Jemicy School’s Paragraphology, and other reading, writing, and math curricula.
