Former English Language Arts teacher with 18 years in Carroll County schools. Trained in Orton-Gillingham Plus, she focuses on helping students become confident readers and writers.
Carol Healy, M.S. is an Academic Specialist at LINKZ. Carol earned her Masters in Teaching from McDaniel College and her B.A. in English from Duke University. She is certified by the State of Maryland in Secondary Education and has trained in Bowman’s Orton-Gillingham Plus.
Carol worked for 18 years as an English Language Arts teacher at Mount Airy Middle School in Carroll County before retiring in 2021 to become a tutor. She enjoys the one-on-one aspect of tutoring and working with students of all ages. Her goal is to help students believe in their abilities and build the skills to become confident readers and writers.
